The Banque de France takes up the challenge of democratising banking subjects among a young public

The Banque de France wished to address young people aged 16 to 25 in order to make up for the lack of financial and budgetary education in secondary schools and to make this subject understandable and accessible to all.

How?

The challenge of this campaign? To talk about an important but not very entertaining subject: the economy. So we had to find a concept that would work for their generation, using their codes.

We have therefore created a web series that deals with budgeting issues for young people aged 16 to 25, from high school to university. A series inspired by Youtube influencers. Our actress, Charlotte, plays an inquisitive young adult with a wry sense of humour who shares the economic lessons she has learned in her daily life.

A recipe that works

And a 3rd season is in production

In the first season, different themes were discussed: water damage, paying with your mobile, savings, bank mobility, interest rates, student loans… Season 1 and 2 are already available.

The third season will be broadcast in 2022.
