For her research, Karen Nelson-Field compared via 22 test groups, 5,000 viewing sessions and 50,000 advertisements whether an advertising spot attracted the most attention on TV, Facebook or YouTube. She charted that attention through eye tracking. For online advertising this was done from the webcam and for television from a camera on the tablet.
